Blocked Account
The blocked account is essential for your German student visa as a proof that you can afford life in Germany. As a student you are required to deposit a blocked amount of € 992.00 per month plus a one-time buffer of € 100.00.

Incoming Insurance
An incoming insurance (travel health insurance) is also required for your visa appointment. With BASTI you get your coverage at Care Concept for free. Of course, you will receive an insurance confirmation for coverage of up to 180 days. Coverage is worth up to € 153.00 and you are covered by the renowned provider Care Concept.

Public Health Insurance
Students up to the age of 30 need public health insurance coverage for enrolment at university and the electronic registration (M10). With BASTI you get coverage at one of the biggest and most popular public health insurance companies: DAK-Gesundheit. With BASTI you have the choice between two plans.

Private Liability and Accident Insurance
Benefit from private liability and accident insurance by the renowned provider Care Concept (Care Protector plan). Accident insurance protects you from costs resulting from accidents. Liability insurance covers the costs that arise in the case you cause damage to someone else or someone else’s property, if you lose your apartment keys and in many other cases.
